Privacy policy

How the ordinary assessment differs from optional Partner transfer, including browser storage, sharing, advertising and privacy inquiries.

Scope and operator

This notice covers the relationship assessment and public type guides at closer-code.com, operated by You&Ella Co., Ltd. The separate company inquiry website and a receiving Partner's service also have their own notices; read them before visiting or sending information.

Ordinary assessment and browser storage

The ordinary test requires no login, name or date of birth. Answers and code calculations are processed in your browser. The ordinary assessment does not submit the 30 answers to a server. Unfinished answers stay in the current test screen's memory and reset on refresh.

Completed answers and results are saved in sessionStorage to display your result in the same tab. Starting again resets them; closing the tab ends its temporary storage. Your chosen language is stored in localStorage for later visits. Clearing the site's browser data also removes that language preference.

Optional Partner flow

Partner links may ask for a name and date of birth to connect and transfer a result to an organization. These details and Partner connection state are kept in the current tab's temporary storage. Link validation and submission-token requests contact the Partner service, but submission of your answers, name and date of birth requires consent and pressing the transfer button.

The submission request contains name, date of birth, all 30 answers, language, assessment version, consent version and a submission token. The receiving organization is shown on the transfer screen. Skipping transfer does not submit the result. Closing the tab or clearing browser data does not automatically delete information already sent. Consult the receiving organization's notice or the contact channel below about retention and deletion after transfer.

Connection information and external services

Hosting and network providers may process connection information such as IP address, requested URL and browser information when delivering pages and images. This is separate from submitting assessment answers. The current public site is delivered through Cloudflare. A Cloudflare performance script added in the production environment sends performance metrics, such as page load timings, to Cloudflare. Its privacy information is linked below.

Names, email addresses and messages submitted on the company inquiry page are handled under that page's notice. Closer Code pages do not submit an inquiry form on your behalf.

Advertising and cookies

The current AdSense ownership meta tag and ads.txt file do not execute advertising code. The current site does not include a Google advertising loader.

If Google advertising is introduced, Google and other vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on Internet visits. You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings below. The actual vendors and required consent process must be reflected in this notice when advertising is introduced.

Sharing, deletion and inquiries

Result links point to a public type guide and do not include individual answers, names or dates of birth. Image saving and your device's sharing features run when you choose them. Check the audience before posting to another service.

Use your browser's site-data controls to manage saved language and tab data. For access, correction or deletion requests concerning a Partner submission, or other privacy questions, use the ‘Privacy / Data’ category on the official company contact page. Provide only the information needed for your request.
